1. Information We Collect

• Personal Information: Name, email, account details, subscription or payment information (handled by secure third-party providers).
• Authentication Data: When you sign in with Google, we collect your email address, name, and profile picture from your Google account via Firebase Authentication. We use this information solely for account creation, authentication, and to personalize your app experience.
• Health & Nutrition Data: Food logs, calorie intake, exercise, body measurements, and related health data you provide.
• Device & Technical Data: Device type, OS, app version, IP address, crash logs, diagnostic data.
• Advertising Data: Advertising ID (Google Ad ID / Apple IDFA), engagement metrics, and app usage.
• Usage Data: Screens visited, time spent, clicks, and app interaction.
• Guest User Data: For users who choose to use the app without creating an account, we collect minimal data including device identifiers and app usage data to provide core functionality.

1.1 Guest User Accounts

NutriverseAi offers a guest mode that allows you to use the app without providing personal information such as your mobile number or email address. Guest accounts are designed for users who want to try the app's features before creating a full account.

• Limited Features: Guest users have access to core app features but cannot upgrade to premium subscriptions or access certain advanced features.
• Temporary Nature: Guest accounts are temporary and will be automatically deleted after 7 days from creation.
• Data Collection: We collect minimal data for guest users, including device identifiers, app usage patterns, and any nutrition data you voluntarily input.
• Account Conversion: Guest users can convert their temporary account to a permanent account at any time by providing a mobile number and completing verification.

3. Health Insights & Calculations

NutriverseAi collects basic health-related information such as age, height, weight, gender, and activity level only when voluntarily provided by the user. This information is used solely to calculate BMI and to generate personalized nutrition insights such as daily calorie, protein, carbohydrate, and fat recommendations.

The app may also provide estimated fitness goals, including target weight and projected completion dates, based on user inputs. These insights are purely informational and are not a substitute for professional medical or nutritional advice.

All calculations are performed securely within the app, and this data is never shared with any third party. NutriverseAi does not access, collect, or sync any data from Apple Health, HealthKit, Google Fit, or Health Connect. All nutrition and fitness information is entered directly by the user.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide core app features (nutrition tracking, calorie analysis, progress tracking).
• To manage accounts, subscriptions, and payments.
• To improve and personalize the app experience.
• To show ads to free users (via Google AdMob).
• To measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and comply with policies.

2.1 Subscription Plans & Premium Features

NutriverseAi offers premium subscription plans that provide access to advanced features and an ad-free experience:

• Monthly Plan: ₹399 for 1 month of premium access
• Yearly Plan: ₹2,499 for 1 year of premium access (better value)

Both subscription plans are identical in features and provide access to all premium functionality. The only difference is the billing duration. Premium subscribers enjoy:

• Ad-free experience throughout the app
• Advanced nutrition insights and detailed analytics
• Unlimited food logging and tracking
• Priority customer support
• Access to premium meal planning features

Payment Processing: All subscription payments are processed securely through Google Play Store (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS). We do not directly handle or store your payment information. Subscription management, including cancellations and refunds, must be handled through your respective app store account.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

We use Google AdMob to display ads to free users only. Premium subscribers enjoy an ad-free experience. AdMob may collect device info, IP address, and advertising ID from free users.

• Personalized Ads: Based on your activity and interests (shown only with consent).
• Opt-Out: You can disable personalized ads anytime via your device settings.

We do not share your health or nutrition data with advertisers.

4. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Authentication Services: Firebase Authentication (Google) - for secure user authentication when you sign in with Google. Firebase processes your email, name, and profile picture according to Google's Privacy Policy.

• Business Transfers: If our company is merged, acquired, or sold, your data may be transferred to the new entity.

5. Data Retention

• Regular Account & Health Data: Stored while your account is active and for up to 30 days after account deletion request to allow for recovery.
• Guest User Data: Automatically and permanently deleted after 7 days from account creation. This includes all nutrition data, usage patterns, and any other information collected during the guest session. No data recovery is possible after deletion.
• Ad IDs & Logs: Retained for limited periods (up to 12 months) for fraud prevention and analytics.
• Complete Data Deletion: Upon request or automatic expiration (for guest users), we permanently delete or anonymize all your data from our systems, including backups and logs, within 30 days.

Important for Guest Users: Since guest accounts are automatically deleted after 7 days, we recommend converting to a permanent account before this period expires if you wish to retain your data and continue using the app with the same progress.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may:

• Access, update, or delete your data.
• Opt out of personalized ads.
• Withdraw consent anytime.
• Request a copy of your data (where required by law).
• Convert from guest to permanent account to retain data beyond 7 days.

Note for Guest Users: Due to the temporary and anonymous nature of guest accounts, some rights (such as data portability requests) may be limited. Guest users can convert to permanent accounts to access full data rights.
